FANTOMAT machine installation by Dritero Kasapi – Sweden & Venelin Shurelov – Bulgaria
Fantomat is a sculpture-installation, formed by 7 soul/slot machines, humanoid-looking sculptures, with plasma screens. The Fantomats are spread around DEPO, and one is placed inside, on the ground floor of the annex building. By confronting the rules of commercialised space, the Fantomat reconnects with the neighbourhood.
BORDERLINE sound installation by Siri Hermansen, Norway
Borderline is a sound installation transmitting one Muslim, one Christian and one Jewish prayer through speakers, every hour. The prayers are composed rhythmically, sometimes harmoniously and sometimes colliding and overlapping. The installation is placed inside DEPO, on the ground floor, together with tables and chairs inviting the visitors to have tea and discuss with the artist.
THE KISS AND WASTE PROJECT media installation by Anne Lise Stenseth, Norway
Personal video stories, based on letters written by women from around the Black Sea, contrasting one another, mirroring, presented in an intimate environment. This installation is shown on the 1st floor of DEPO.
