I Had Something in Mind: Guided tour with Zeynep Sayın

As part of the exhibition I Had Something in Mind, on view at Depo until March 28, a guided tour will be held with the participation of Zeynep Sayın.

Featuring a selection of works by artist and academic Gülçin Aksoy, who passed away in 2024, I Had Something in Mind displays the artist’s long-term concerns with issues pertaining to academia, gender, body and existence, and the politics of nature and power. Curated by her students and her daughter, I Had Something in Mind spans different periods of the artist’s practice, and includes previously unexhibited works. Ekmel Ertan, Nazım Hikmet Richard Dikbaş, Nermin Saybaşılı and Zeynep Sayın contribute to the exhibition catalogue with texts on Gülçin Aksoy and her artistic practice.

The tour will be held in Turkish and registration is not required to participate.
