This You Must Remember: A conversation with Sam Jury and Asida Butba

As part of the exhibition This You Must Remember, which is on view at Depo between 8 November 2022 and 7 January 2023, a conversation will be held with the participation of the filmmaker Sam Jury and the curator Asida Butba.
Jury and Butba will discuss the process of making the film installation This You Must Remember and how their ideas developed into a larger exhibition to include contemporary texts and images from Abkhazia as it is today. Butba will introduce the work of SKLAD Cultural Space, the only contemporary art venue in Abkhazia, and some of the challenges of working in a post conflict region.
The event will be held in English and on Depo’s second floor. Registration for the event is not required.
