As part of the exhibition Exceptional Times, on view at Depo and Karşı Sanat, a conversation will be held with the participation of the artist Fatoş İrwen, curators Ezgi Bakçay and Mahmut Wenda Koyuncu, and writer & academic Aslı Özgen.
In this first solo exhibition by Fatoş İrwen, the artist’s uninterrupted production process over the years, the variety of materials and conceptual multilayeredness of her practice stand out, while her work invites the viewer to contemplate concepts such as witnessing, justice and compassion.
